Stage 2 of 4
Expand: contracts for a company that is growing
Growth means more signatures: bigger customers, a second location, the first people on payroll.
In the Expand stage we draft and review the agreements you sign every month, and for companies signing more than a few, we work on a flat monthly plan. You send the contract; we send it back marked up, with a one-page summary of what to push on.

What each matter involves. Your quote comes in writing before any work begins.

Rent, personal liability, build-out and exit terms, negotiated before you get the keys.
- Billed monthly

How it runs
A contract back in days
- 01
Step 1: Send the draft
Once we're engaged, send the contract and the date you need it back.
- 02
Step 2: Marked up, with a summary
You get tracked changes and one page on what matters and what doesn't.
- 03
Step 3: We talk to the other side
If you want, we negotiate the changes directly with their lawyer.
Questions about contracts and the plan
What does the monthly plan cover?
Short questions by phone or email, and up to four contract reviews a month. Anything larger, like a lawsuit or a sale, is quoted separately, with the plan rate taken off.
Can we cancel the plan?
Yes, with thirty days' notice. There is no minimum term.
Do you write employee handbooks?
We draft offer letters, contractor agreements and short handbooks for small teams. Larger employment questions we refer out.

The first call is free. It doesn't make us your lawyers; a signed engagement letter does.
